EzLogIt experiences positive growth in 2013

 
With the increased pressure to move away from paper logs and the explosion of affordable mobile devices in recent years, EzLogIt has been well received by the trucking industry.  Between the product itself and the outstanding customer service, the application has experienced tremendous growth in 2013.  SLG Technologies, LLC, the developer for EzLogIt is a U.S. owned and operated software company based in Texas.   

EzLogIt is an application tool that is used to record driver information, hours of service, trip inspections and expenses.  It helps to improve driver performance which in turn reduces DOT log violations and creates a better method for tracking company logistics.

During the 2013 Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) Conference in Denver, there were several panel discussions in regard to technology improvements.  A large area of focus is on further development of applications for the trucking industry.  It is expected that within 2 years, paper logs will be obsolete.

iPhone/ iPad update released (ver 1.3.4)

On November 11, 2013, SLG Technologies, LLC released a new update for EzLogIt on the iPhone and iPad.  This update will further improve performance and battery life on the devices.  In addition to improving performance, a bug was resolved to correct a time zone issue by creating automatic screen refreshes.  Thanks to the continued support and feedback from our members, we were able to quickly resolve the issue in a timely manner.

The newly released EzLogIt version 7.3 has been received well by members. The new interface upgrades and features have taken the application to the next level. As developers continue to work towards providing all of the tools truck drivers need to record the driver log that reflects their hours of service (HOS) requirements, and reporting needs, they strive to add additional features that make EzLogIt the leading application for CDL drivers.

The new release includes updates to the GPS functionality for faster response times and now includes an interface with Google Maps to help drivers identify their location with ease. Additionally, the application is increasingly becoming more diverse for Canadian drivers by incorporating their logging rules within the framework.

One of the highlighted features added to version 7.3 is the ability to view and edit the database where log information is stored. This makes for easy corrections in the event that an error was made while recording the daily log information. The EzLogit application is at the forefront of the electronic logbooks on smartphones and continues to improve its features and attract new customers.

Release 7.3 Scheduled for January 2

The much anticipated release 7.3 is scheduled to hit Google Play on January 2, 2013. The new update will include an enhanced GPS locator, Google Maps integration, and options to change the hours of service rules for US and Canadian drivers. Also included is a new feature that drivers have been asking for that includes a tool to view and edit previous log actions.

The developers of EzLogit have also updated the graphics on the user interface to make it more appealing. Together with the new features, a new look, and the additional features planned for the first quarter 2013, the EzLogit application is the leader in the industry.

EzLogit Plans to Expand to Canada

In recent months we have received requests from Canadian drivers to develop the application to include Canadian laws. Our developers are now working to develop the new application. EzLogit expects to release the update the fourth quarter of 2012.

EzLogit Release 7.0 Coming Soon

EzLogit is about to release version 7.0 with improved performance and functionality. Some of the new features will improve database storage limits on the phone, GPS timeout for manual entry, improved driver inspection logs and additional improvements suggested by end users. The developers are excited to hear from its users and provide feedback on the application. Release 7.0 is expected to hit Google Play the week of September 10.
